Do you have a liquor license & do you provide alcohol? NO. We are strictly a bartending service. Washington State liquor laws do not permit mobile bars to carry liquor licenses. We cannot provide alcohol but we are happy to work with you regarding your event and figure out the most budget friendly shopping list with the exact quantities so we can best serve your guests.

What makes Set the Bar different than other mobile bars? Although we are a family business, we are a collective group that has immense experience in customer service and mixology. Set the Bar boasts the leadership of our head mixologist who also happens to be a classically trained Historian that works in higher ed. in Wenatchee. He brings his discipline of studying history to our bar and combines it with our families love of botany to lead our team and bring the elevated cocktail experience to your guest. All combined, it makes Set the Bar your prime choice for beautiful, sophisticated, and herbaceous, drinks for every one of your guests, whether they drink alcohol or not - we make sure to make everyone feel included.

How far do you travel? Our mobile bar is available in Chelan and Douglass counties only. But our bartenders are able to travel with an additional $1/mile.

are you insured? YES. We have both General Liability and Liquor Liability Insurance in order to protect the host and ourselves.

Do you check I.d.'s? YES. We always check I.D.'s before serving anyone. So, please make sure to remind your guest to bring their I.D.'s.

What is your policy for cutting people off? If anyone is visibly intoxicated, we reserve the right to stop serving them. We are aware that some handle their alcohol better than others, however, we take our duty serious and will do our best to explain to guests that we cannot serve them alcohol and will offer them other non-alcoholic beverages. We sincerely want everyone to have fun, and the safety of your guests is of the upmost importance to us here at Set the Bar.

What is your cancellation policy? If a client cancels their contract 30 days or prior to their event, Set the Bar will return 25% of their total. *Further details can be found in contract agreement*

Are we allowed to decorate the bar? YES! clients are more than welcome to decorate the bar to match the theme of their event. All we ask is for non-permanent decoration that could damage or alter the bar's exterior.

What all do you need to for a successful setup? All we ask is to - First check in with your venue on what their policies are for mobile bars. - In order for us to bring the bar trailer to your location, we will need enough room for both a truck and the trailer itself to be able to pull in, turn around, and park. We have two service windows; one on the passenger side, and the other is in back side of the bar. - We also need a relatively level surface. - For power, we need to be at least 75 ft. away from a power source to light up the bar.
